Summary
FreelanceDash stores all your data locally in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store your financial data on any external servers. Your data stays on your device.
Data Storage
All income, expenses, client information, and settings are stored in your browser's localStorage. This means your data remains on your device. Clearing your browser data, using incognito/private mode, or switching devices will mean your data is not available unless you have exported a backup.
Payment Processing
If you purchase the Pro license, payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your payment details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to the payment flow.
Cookies
We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your data. We do not use tracking cookies.
Analytics
We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools. Your usage is not monitored.
Third-Party Services
The app may load fonts from Google Fonts. This is a standard web font delivery service. No personal data is sent to Google in relation to your use of FreelanceDash.
Your Rights
Because your data stays in your browser, you have full control. You can export your data at any time (Settings → Export Backup). You can delete all data (Settings → Delete All Data). If you are in the UK or EU, your data is not processed by us on servers, so typical GDPR data subject requests do not apply in the same way — but you can always export or delete your local data yourself.
